Our dedicated server offerings are for gaming use only (the running of game server processes). If you are interested in dedicated servers for other purposes (web hosting, database hosting, etc.) or server co-location, then please contact us and we'll be happy to discuss your requirements.

Guaranteed minimum specs to suit your budget
All our dedicated servers offer guaranteed minimum hardware, unlimited player slots and no bandwidth limits**. You can run whatever supported games* you like up to the physical limits of the machine. Ranging from a single processor Pentium 4 to a monster DualCore Dual Opteron, our dedicated servers offer unparalleled performance and support. Whether you are a small clan just taking you first dedicated, through to a large multigaming clan needing absolute power, we have a dedicated server to suit your needs.

You have a choice to opt for either a managed server or an unmanaged server. With managed servers all the games you choose are kept up-to-date by our system, such as when patches are released and new maps and mods are added. Day-to-day management of your server processes and configs is done through our powerful ClanForge server management control panel.
Familiar ClanForge interface
If you choose the ClanForge route, you get all the advanced features along with our unrivalled friendly and experienced technical support. However, you can choose to go down the route of the unmanaged DIY option and run the box yourself using root access/windows remote desktop. In the case of unmanaged servers, you need to be aware that technical support from Multiplay is reduced to hardware and connectivity only. You will need to install and run the games you want yourself. For unmanaged dedicated servers there is also a £100 + vat reinstallation fee chargable if you or one of your admins render the machine inaccessible.
Choice of Operating System
You can choose either Windows or FreeBSD (linux binaries) operating systems with managed servers. With unmanaged servers we can install other operating systems on request, such as RedHat. However, there may be a charge for other operating systems being provided and installed. Given that in our tests FreeBSD runs linux binaries better than most Linux distributions, we recommend sticking to either FreeBSD or Windows for your dedicated. Bear in mind when selecting your operating system that certain games only run under certain operating systems*.
