Dedicated Server Minimum Specs

Dedicated Lite

Our entry-level dedicated server, the Dedicated Lite is more suitable for those wishing to play with small numbers of players or older games. We would suggest that 24 slots be the maximum number of players for a game like Battlefield 2 but for a game such as CS: Source (at 33-tick) you could run a higher slot server - perhaps up to 32 players.

Dedicated Pro

A small but critical step up from an entry-level machine, the Dedicated Pro is for the clan who would like a medium sized server for newer games. If slightly older games is something your clan might be interested in - a MOHAA server for example - then this specification could handle a very large server. Whilst this specification is capable of running multiple instances of older games, you may wish to consider one of our dual-core machines for running multiple servers of newer games.

Dedicated Pro 64

The 64-bit CPU version of our Dedicated Pro machine, using an AMD chip rather than Intel. It should be noted that with this specification we upgrade your maximum voice-comms slots to 32, above the 24 slots offered by our lower-end specs. It should also be noted that this is the lowest spec machine capable of running a 64-player BF2 server and the entry level machine for BF2142, so if it's Battlefield you're after then this could be the right option for you.

Dedicated Pro Dual

Sitting right in the middle of our range, the Pro-Dual is the lowest spec dual-cpu we offer. We wouldnt recommend buying this server for any high-powered games such as Battlefield 2142 or CS: Source running at 100-tick rate, but what this machine relaly excells at is lots of smaller servers. If for example you wanted to have a small collection of Counter Strike: Source servers running at 33-tick rate, then this is a great machine to have. Affordable and versatile, the Pro Dual is an ideal solution for a thriving clan.

Dedicated Ultra

One of our most popular machines, the Dedicated Ultra is pitched just right for the medium-sized clan who are looking for a mid to high-end specification. Coming with 64 voice comms slots, a minimum of 120GB HD space and 2GB of RAM this dual-core beast is definitely one of our most flexible and versatile machines. For a clan of 25 people this would work out at only £10 per member per month and comes with 400MB of webspace - enough for your website and any demos, files and mods that you want to put on your clan website.

Dedicated Ultra Extreme

A newer addition to our dedicated server range, this newcomer has one of the latest Intel chips, thanks to the Core 2 Duo chip at the heart of this beefy machine, you're getting solid power at a more affordable price than some of our higher-end machines. Two CPU cores means this machine is good at running two intensive servers, such as 2 x BF2 servers with 64 players each.

A powerhouse machine for the ambitious clans. If you're trying to get your clan name known then a Dedicated Ultimate is a machine to consider. Capable of running 4 x 64 player BF2 servers - all with your clans name on - you could raise awareness of your clan just by running popular servers. With no less than four CPU cores the possibilities with this machine are almost endless. Capable of running insane amounts of servers you can dominate the server list and get your name known and synonymous with good servers.

The best of the best. The Royal Marines of the server world. With the blindingly fast Intel® Core™ 2 Extreme CPU (or two of them to be precise) a whopping 128 voice-comms slots, 1GB of webspace and a minimum of 160GB of drive space - this machine is a monster. Only the really serious need apply because if your clan owns one of these puppies then you are a serious contender on the scene. Again with 20 people this becomes very affordable at less than £30/month per member.
